SCR RODEO ENTRY GUILDELINES

TO ENTER A RODEO, YOUR CONTESTANT ID WILL BE YOUR 10 DIGIT CELL PHONE NUMBER (without spaces or dashes) Example: 2346783456

REMINDER: IF YOU ENTER AS A BUDDY GROUP, YOU WILL NEED A CELL PHONE NUMBER, MAILING ADDRESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS FROM EVERYONE IN YOUR GROUP TO ENTER (first time to enter). BUDDY GROUPS WILL CONSIST OF 1-4 SEPARATE CONTESTANTS OR 2 TEAM ROPING TEAMS.

  1. Entry information appearing in the long listings of the SCR RODEO
     website will take precedent over any other information appearing elsewhere.
  2. ALL entries for SCR RODEO
     events will be taken on Monday (2 weeks prior to event) through our ONLINE ENTRY SYSTEM from 9am to 10pm. If you are unable to enter the event online, you may call-in (the day of entries) from 9am to 10pm (254-396-1341). Entries are NOT first come first serve. Entry Grace Period will be Tuesday morning (2 weeks prior to event) from 9am to Noon.
  3. USING MOBILE DEVICE TO ENTER – After you “Select A Rodeo”, scroll to bottom of page to view current entries in each event.
  4. You must give a preference for each performance listed (SLACK IS CONSIDERED A PERFORMANCE)
    1. EXAMPLE – At a 2-performance rodeo with slack you will have 4 preferences for each Performance and Slack (1st preference; 2nd preference; 3rd preference; Out).

If your First Preference is the 2nd Perf and your Second Preference is Slack and you CANNOT compete in the 1st Perf, you would enter as follows:

UNDER 1st Perf you select Out

UNDER 2nd Perf you select 1st Preference

UNDER Slack you select 2nd preference

  1. Slack can be listed as a 1st Preference, but performances WILL be filled before SLACK is available. The computer will then place you according to your Preference.
  2. Draw / Daysheet will be posted on the SCR RODEO website within 24 hours of entries closing. Trades must be completed within 72 hours after entries close. A designated phone number will be posted for Call Backs for Trades and Draw Outs.
  3. After Entry Grace Period, late entries will only be taken by phone. There will be a $20 late charge on all late entries.
    1. Late Timed Event entries will be put into the slack unless performances are available. Rough Stock entries may be entered into performances. Late entries will be first in the draw for Timed Events and last in the Barrel Racing.
